Hal Feldman – Chairman
Hal Feldman is a Realtor® with RE/MAX Advance Realty, lives in Palmetto Bay and is involved with the community on several levels. His years of work as a top-ranking real estate agent are a passion. Having moved 11 times in his life, he makes sure others get the full services they need to keep stress to a minimum. While Palmetto Bay is his home, Hal does real estate from Downtown Miami through Cutler Bay and all points west.
Hal writes a column for the local newspapers, is on the Palmetto Bay Partnership Advisory Board, was named Miami-Dade Neighborhood Watch Chairman of the Year in 2013, organizes the Palmetto Baystock music events and volunteers at several organizations and community events throughout the year.
Hal came to South Florida in 2004 and immediately fell in love with Palmetto Bay. As a veteran broadcaster with ABC News in New York, Hal sees the world around him in video. He often highlights Palmetto Bay news on his blog (miamihal.com) and YouTube channel (youtube.com/miamihal). Hal graduated Syracuse University’s prestigious Newhouse School of Public Communication.
Pamela Mayers – Assistant Chairwoman
Pam is a licensed Real Estate agent specializing in the Miami luxury home market in the cities and communities of Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, South Miami, Cocoplum, Gables Estates, and Gables by the Sea. Pam is a Realtor Associate with EWM and ranks in the top 2% in the nation in sales. She serves on various community boards including the Pinecrest Business Association and the BNI Membership Board.
Marcell Hetenyi – Treasurer
Marcell Hetenyi is a CPA and a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist in Palmetto Bay. He received his undergraduate degrees in Finance and Management Information Systems from the Florida State University and his Masters degree in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. Marcell is a partner at Scheckner & Hetenyi, PL, a full service boutique accounting firm he co-founded with his mentor and father-in-law, Martin Scheckner. They specialize in IRS controversy and tax problem resolution, U.S. and International taxation and tax planning, as well as estate and trust accounting. Marcell’s practice also includes extensive individual and corporate tax preparation, planning, and business consulting. He is licensed to practice in the states of Florida and California and has over 10 years of diverse experience.
Marcell was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary and moved to Florida in 1997. He currently lives in Cutler Bay with his wife and son. He is the Treasurer of the South Dade Estate Planning Council and Neat Stuff, a charitable organization dedicated to provide new uniforms and clothing to abused children and children in foster care. Marcell is also a member of many local business associations and accounting professional organizations.

Al Royston, Sr. – Secretary
Alva R. Royston, Sr., is President of A. RANDALL Financial, a financial advisement and investment firm. He has been a financial advisor for over three decades with the investment firms of Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney before starting his own company in 2009. In addition to being a financial advisor Mr. Royston has served as a sales manager for the Rochester New York office and Branch manager for the Norfolk Virginia offices of Smith Barney.
He has won numerous awards from his employers for outstanding efforts and performance. A. RANDALL Financial specializes in working with individuals and small businesses in helping to establishing financial goals and managing investment assets to achieve these goals.

Zac Hall – Assistant Secretary
Zac is the long time owner of Minuteman Press – The Falls, a commercial / quick printer serving the graphic design, printing and marketing and promotional needs of businesses in South Miami-DadeCounty. Prior to entering the printing field, Zac held various positions in operations and finance in multinational corporations serving the IT, travel, pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries. A resident of Palmetto Bay since 1995, he is an active member of several community business organizations and serves on the boards of Chamber South and the Pinecrest Business Association.
Courtney Reeder – Immediate Past Chairwoman
Courtney Reeder was born, raised, and is currently a Palmetto Bay resident along with her husband and three children. She graduated from Florida International University in 2004 with a degree in Marketing & Hospitality.
She served as PBBA Chairwoman from 2015-2016.
Courtney is the Operations Director for Golden Rule Seafood, a family owned & operated seafood market, with a longstanding reputation for having the finest quality and greatest selection of seafood in South Florida. She has also been very instrumental in the creation of the newest family business, a family friendly, local seafood restaurant in Palmetto Bay.
Sammy, who resides in Palmetto Bay, is familiar with South Florida. He graduated from Cutler Ridge “Junior High” and Palmetto Senior High. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance from Mobile University in Alabama and earned his Master’s Degree in Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He is married to Linda and they have three children; April, Andrew and Austin. Sammy serves as Campus Pastor of Christ Fellowship. Located in Palmetto Bay. Christ Fellowship, is a church made up of over 70 nationalities located in 6 different locations across Miami-Dade County. Sammy has taught Principles of Worship as an adjunct professor for New Orleans Seminary as well as regular workshops on Worship Strategies and Leadership.
Karen and her husband Ed, both photographers, have owned All Star Event Photography studio since 1988. Specializing in Business portraits, for individuals and groups, corporate events, with on site photo printing and youth sports leagues photography. Karen, an active member of the local business associations, enjoys photographing the business events. In their spare time Karen and Ed enjoy camping and canoeing in the great outdoors.

Suzanne Gottlieb Calleja
Suzanne comes to Miami from New York City, via Los Angeles, California. She is a graduate from Smith College in Massachusetts with a B.A. in French and Government. After graduating from Smith, she worked as and Assistant Producer and then Producer for Walter Cronkite’s Independent documentary company, Cronkite Ward & Company, located in both Washington and New York City. CWC produced international documentaries for the Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel and PBS. In 1995, Suzanne was offered a position working for a Producer on a Disney film entitled Gone Fishin’ starring Joe Pesci and Danny Glover which filmed in the Florida Everglades. For the next several years, Suzanne worked several films and documentaries for companies such as Fox, Paramount and Hallmark Channel. She then became the Executive Director for a digital animation/live action entertainment company called Moon Crescent Studios formed in 1999 in Los Angeles, which combined award-winning film and television expertise with the newest technologies of the time. Moon Crescent employed over one hundred animators from all over the world. In 2005, Suzanne and her husband decided to move to Miami, with their newborn son Carlos, to be closer to family. Suzanne is an amateur cellist and has played with the Alhambra Orchestra and Four Strings, a local chamber group. Since 2005, Suzanne has been the Communications and Community Relations Director at Palmer Trinity School in Palmetto Bay. Palmer Trinity School—a coeducational, Episcopal day school—provides a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that integrates knowledge, compassion and social responsibility, which are essential goals of the school’s mission. Palmer Trinity School serves students from a broad range of socio-economic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds in grades 6-12.
Yane Marie Sleppy
Yané Marie Sleppy is a classically trained pianist who loves music and loves teaching. Since 2001, she has taught piano in students' homes, and once a year, she organizes a recital to showcase the students’ talents and efforts. She prepares her students for the piano exam ABSRM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and for auditions for the music magnet programs in our public school system. She has played piano accompaniment for the Miami Children's Theater and the Florida Bandmasters Association as well as for Florida Orchestral Association competitions. Since 2005, she has played piano professionally for the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, LCMS.
Yané Marie was born and reared in Miami-Dade County and joined the U.S. Army to serve as a radio repair technician. She currently lives in Cutler Bay with her husband and their five children, who also play piano, among other instruments. She is a licensed amateur radio operator, and, with her family, she is involved in the Everglades Amateur Radio Club. She homeschools the children and is the Special Events coordinator for the home school group LIGHT (Leaders In Godly Home Training).
Tana M. Llinás
Tana is a multi-disciplinary award-winning designer, speaker, and business woman with more than 17 years of experience in the creative field. She has worked with organizations, top creative agencies, and local and global brands such as VISA, Starwood Resort & Residences, Chronicle Books, Starbucks, University of Miami, and The Cleveland Orchestra. After nearly a decade as a co-owner of her previous agency, Tana founded Brand Poets, a creative agency specializing in integrated brand systems.
Tana earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and began her professional career in Barcelona, Spain, as a design assistant to Javier Mariscal, one of Spain’s most well-known modern illustrators. She went on to develop digital and print brand systems for a wide range of private and commercial clients throughout Spain and the United Kingdom: spas, hotels, real estate developers, museums, and fashion brands before returning stateside. Tana enjoys mentoring future creatives by previously serving on the board of AIGA Miami and critiquing prospective RISD applicant portfolios for the past decade.
Originally from Iowa, Tana is a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has traveled to over 36 countries (and counting), is an honorary Colombian by way of marriage, and a mother of two young adventurous boys. She finds inspiration in faraway places, innovative thinkers, and well-executed special effects in zombie flicks.
