PBBA is a very different kind of networking organization than you will find anywhere else. We expect nothing from our members, except to attend the monthly lunch meetings – no charitable causes, no fundraising, no committees, no extra demands.

We meet the first Thursday of each month and members pay only $20 to enjoy fabulous food, conversation and a featured speaker. It's no wonder that the meetings usually draw a crowd of 75-100 members.

We gather to network at 11:30 a.m., sit down for lunch at noon, hear updates about Palmetto Bay and our business community, listen to an interesting speaker, and are finished at 1:15 p.m. The meeting also includes member spotlights, where each month two members gets to talk about their businesses for three minutes. (The free member spotlights are "won" the month before by business card drawing.) At 1:15 p.m., some members leave for appointments, but many stay behind for more networking after the meeting ends.

In July and December, instead of a lunch meeting, the Palmetto Bay Business Association gathers at the magnificent Palm Room of the Palmetto Bay Village Center for a night-time networking event. These are evenings featuring food, wine and beer, and live music... and are free to members. In fact, each member gets six tickets to bring co-workers, clients and friends. These networking events typically have attendance of 100.

In March and September, we meet at a sponsored location for some after-hours networking.

Membership is only $150 per year (or $90 after June 30). What a bargain! That’s why more than 100 businesses in Palmetto Bay and the surrounding area have joined.

Our membership directory is updated in March and September. This means that members who join midyear are quickly listed among the membership, instead of having to wait a whole year, as is the case with many organizations.
