Ana M. Rioseco is a seasoned public service professional. She began her journey in 1987 with the Monroe County Tax Collector in the City of Key West, FL. Her career with Miami-Dade County began a few months later within the same year. Ana has held several procurement positions in the County in various departments. Ana is a Certified Professional Public Buyer with the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council. Currently she is serving as the Local Competition Advocate in the Strategic Procurement Department. She is tasked to promote full and open competition in the award of County Contracts. Ana is also responsible for hosting and planning procurement related workshops and events to showcase the opportunities that small and local vendors can successfully grow their business and register as a Miami-Dade County vendor for contracting opportunities. Helping small and local vendors in our community is her passion.
