Communication Coach
Grisel Palacios is a seasoned leadership and communication coach, consultant, educator, and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with decades of experience helping individuals strengthen their communication skills, develop leadership potential, and perform with greater confidence. Her unique background bridges corporate leadership development, human resources, adult education, and clinical communication—giving her a holistic approach to developing people at every stage of their careers.
For 15 years, Grisel served in leadership and organizational development roles at Baptist Health South Florida, where she led initiatives in coaching, training, onboarding, professional development, and employee retention across all levels of the organization. She has also served as a Professor of Leadership in Healthcare at Florida International University and held HR roles in the healthcare and corporate sectors.
Today, Grisel is the founder of Developing People, Inc., where she combines her expertise in coaching and speech-language pathology to help clients improve communication, speech and language skills, accent modification, voice, and social-emotional and cognitive development.
Grisel holds master's degrees in Speech-Language Pathology and Adult Education and Human Resource Development, as well as a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She is a Florida-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and holds the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, she brings warmth, expertise, and an engaging, highly personalized approach to helping people become stronger communicators and more effective leaders.
